“ Wow! What a lovely surprise! Our party of 4 all got the $50 5 course menu and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The food was incredible, super fresh and jam packed with perfectly matched flavours. The tataki was a stand out. I felt like the hamachi tataki was unbeatable; then I tried the beef one and damnnnn it was amazing too! On top of the tasting menu we also got takoyaki, edamame and tempura. All were outstanding! The food was 5*; and for once these days the service was also impeccable . It was nice to have it all! I would return here in a heartbeat and already told another friend we should go. We did have a reservation, it was quite busy in there at 7pm on a Sunday so I might recommend making a reservation to be safe. The daikon salmon rolls were a super unique dish that I’ve never had anything quite like. They were fresh and just super unique. I would order them again, I do like Daikon a lot though. 10/10 all around! ”

We ordered a wide range of dishes so we could sample as much of the menu as possible, and everything was consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From sushi and small plates to entrées, drinks, and desserts, you can tell the chefs put real care into every dish. The staff also went above and beyond to make the birthday celebration feel special, which meant a lot to all of us.
